Dangling Participle
DanglingparticipleKQ6win
Dangling Participle is a resident of the Isle of Wonder. He is the 'Creature in the Tree'.

BackgroundEdit

He is named after a grammatical term. He looks like a cross between an iguana (or a miniature dragon) and an opossum[1]. He had somehow become lost on the Isle of the Beast, before Alexander found him and gave him to Bookworm in trade for a Riddle Book.

Behind the scenesEdit

His speech pattern consists of almost every sentence ending with a preposition (in a style reminiscent of Star Wars' Yoda).

A "dangling participle" is not at all how the creature speaks. An example of a dangling participle is "Walking down the street, the trees were beautiful".
