Dracula is an evil vampire that lived in Kolyma in KQ2. He appears in fan fiction and fan games including The Silver Lining.
Background[]
For a time Count Dracula and his vampires terrorized the people of Kolyma. It was a frightful time...everyone was afraid to go out after dark, and suspicions ran high when anyone acted strangely, often even when they were acting perfectly normal. The King, Valanice's grandfather, had his knights hunt down the vampires, but the Count eluded them for years. Eventually, Graham killed the Count when he journied to Kolyma to rescue Valanice.
Behind the scenes[]
In the backstory for TSL its suggested that the King of Kolyma hunted down and exterminated all the vampires in Kolyma except for Dracula. In the official lore, Dracula's "Children of Darkness" were still around surviving Dracula's own 'death', and continued to terrorize the land. In KQ2 one of these Vampires, perhaps even Dracula himself actually survived to be at Graham's wedding.
In the unofficial King's Quest II: Romancing the Stones, the character of Dracula was replaced with Count Caldaur.
