The son of Oberon and Titania, he was abducted from Etheria by Lolotte who turned him into a green hunchback and was raised as her son in Tamir. When Rosella was held captive, Edgar developed a crush on her and Lolotte intended to held a marriage. Edgar helped her escape. After Lolotte died, and Genesta was healed, she broke the spell and Edgar found his true identity. Rosella, seeing his true form, expressed her interest, but it was urgent that she returned to her father. They wouldn't see each other again for years.

Unfortunately, when Edgar returned to Etheria, he was captured by Malicia and was turned into an impostor of King Otar of the Trolls. Having lost his memory and thinking he was the true king, he had the order to destroy the land of Eldritch using the volcano. For another time, Rosella's heroism prevented it and broke the spell.

Edgar once more finds his true self and for the first time after many years, he again sees his first love. When everything had returned to normal, Rosella and Edgar began to court. Edgar would often come to visit Rosella in Daventry.

Valanice hopes that someday Edgar along with Rosella would become the heirs of Daventry.

Surprisingly despite being the son of the faeries he is considered human.

According to the unofficial alternate KQ2 timeline Edgar never became the heir of Daventry, and it was said that he and Rosella ultimately moved to Etheria, and King Graham had to look for an heir elsewhere, choosing Connor.

He is one of the protagonists in the novelization of the canceled game King's Quest IX: It Takes Two to Tangle.

He makes an appearance in The Silver Lining, but its unknown how much of a role he will have.
