Episode 5: A Thousand Times Goodnight is the final planned episode of the The Silver Lining.

The game engine for this episode is Unity, while the previous episodes used Torque. This change has meant assets used previously had to be adjusted or remade to work with the new game engine.

The last official update for this project was May 21, 2015. The update indicates the episode can be played from start to finish, with work remaining on game logic and polish.

The estimated percent of completion according to this update indicates the logic and programming is about 95% complete. The props are about 80% complete and backgrounds without polish are at 70% complete. The characters are only about 30% complete, but cinematic is around 55% complete.

The update from March 4, 2015 included some samples of the visual upgrades the volunteers have worked towards for this last episode.
