The Boogeyman is one of Malicia's minions.

Background

The Boogeyman is a nasty undead being who took over Ooga Booga after Malicia's Gargoyle killed Count Tsepish. He torched the Tsepish mansion, and wanted to marry Countess Tsepish. He would attack anyone who remained in one place too long, digging out of the ground at their feet. His home was underneath the Deadfall and he kept King Otar Fenris III prisoner in what appeared to be his wardrobe on Malicia's orders.

Personality and traits

The Boogeyman is sick and diseased with worms in the brain. He's not evil, just hideous and sick -- a real twisted individual.

Behind the scenes

Though the Boogeyman is usually fatal to the player, he is no longer a threat after obtaining the black cloak later on in the game. Though he still appears after spending too much time on one screen, he will leap away after mistaking Rosella for Countess Tsepish, whom the Boogeyman has feelings for.
