The Feather of Truth is a mystical feather that had fallen out of a niche in complete statue of a warrior in the Hall of War. Connor took it and it allowed him to balance the Scales of Justice. It represented pure truth. Because of Connor's own pure soul as the Champion Eternal he was able to balance the other side of the scales.
Behind the scenes[]
The Feather of Truth is based on the ostrich feather that represented the goddess Ma'at in Egyptian mythology. Anubis or Osiris would judge the weight of "truth" on the Great Scales of Truth placing the heart of a soul against the ostrich feather of Ma'at in the Hall of Two Truths to judge if the soul was worthy to continue on into the afterlife.
