The hefty brass key was found in a secret niche behind a portrait of King Graham of Daventry, inside of a dining hall in Castle Daventry. Connor noticed the picture was slightly off-center so he decided to push the picture. The picture depressed into the wall, revealing the niche and the key. Connor took the hefty brass key, and later used it to unlock the well-locked door in the Old Castlekeep of Daventry. It opened up into a room with a teleporter, a place to use Connor's map, so he could later use it to magically transport to other transporters he discovered.
