The Ring of Illumination is a magical ring formed by the spell of Magical Illumination. Only the ring of Illumination could allow him to defeat the Shadow Bane guarding the threshold into the Dimension of Death. Connor was able to send a bolt of light at the Shadow Bane dispelling it.
The ring is also known as the Light Ring[1].
