The Mermaid was basking on a rock near the shore. She is a member of the Mer-people race. Although she found Graham to be a somewhat interesting and perhaps amusing animal, she still didn't trust him. Once her Shell Comb was returned to her, the mermaid handed Graham an opal necklace. The creature then swam up to Graham and granted him the ability to breathe underwater with a kiss. She then fetched a seahorse, which then took Graham to Neptune's Kingdom.
