Moose

Moose are the largest members of the deer family.

Background

The hallmark of these animals is their large antlers. They also have a hump at the shoulders and a long muzzle with drooping lip.

A moose head could be found in the little Milvia's Antique Shop. Manannan later obtained the moose head from the antique shop and hung it on his dining room wall.

Hakim had a moose head for sale in his Pawn Shop.

Rosella comments that the stove at the Vulcanix Underground is large enough to cook a moose in there, and then she hears a moose making noises from inside the oven.

Behind the scenes

Moose and especially moose heads were a running gag/Easter egg in various Sierra game series, including King's Quest, Quest for Glory, and Leisure Suit Larry.

Moose are a north american variety of Elk, largest variety in the deer family. They can be found in europe but are known as Elk there. The name moose is a purely North American name.
