TravelpackKQ5

The travel pack (aka pack or backpack[1] or traveling bag) is where characters keep inventory items.

Background[]

It is an icon in the VGA King's Quest games (KQ5 and KQ6) that leads to the Inventory.

Graham uses it to carry items in the KQ1 story in Quest for the Crown: From the Chronicles of Daventry, Part I[2] and KQ2 story in Romancing the Throne: From the Chronicles of Daventry, Part II[3] and Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder: From the Chronicles of Daventry, Part V in The King's Quest Companion.

It is said that Graham carried a leather traveling bag on his back, and it was something he always carried in case he discovered something interesting to bring home.[4]

Alexander spacious bag to hold things in KQ3, mentioned in To Heir is Human: From the Chronicles of Daventry, Part III.[5] He had a pack in KQ6, as mentioned in Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow: From the Chronicles of Daventry, Part VI, and one line in the game.[6]
