The Pyramid is a landmark located in The Barren Region that housed a fire gem at the top. However, it might have a mystical history (Crystal Mystics) as its shape matches that of the Crystal Pyramids used by their race. It allowed an Archon speak from the Realm of the Sun, to Connor once the knight took the gem.
Behind the scenes[]
It is called 'The Pyramid' in the KQ8 Hintbook. It is also a kind of stepped pyramid somewhat like the one in KQ7, but much larger in size. However, unlike the pyramid in KQ7, there is no noticeable way inside.
