The Floating Tile Puzzle (Floating Tiles) was a puzzle inside of the Sanctum of Azriel, that blocked access to Azriel's throne. It lies over a star filled void.
It could only be passed by jumping across certain tiles with a series of five strange symbols found above the mantle to the portal back to the Kingdom of Daventry.
Behind the scenes[]
Each of the symbols appear to be based on real world astrology symbols for the planets, space phenomena, or the Zodiac; Neptune, half of the symbol for Pluto (the parts conveying Mind (crescent) and divine spirit (circle), Sun, Pisces and Mars.
In addition there are even more tiles in the tile puzzle taken from astrology symbols.
