King's Quest I: Quest for the Crown

King's Quest I: Quest For The Crown is the remake of the original King's Quest. The remake includes hi-res EGA graphics similar in style to King's Quest IV. It is not a 1:1 remake. The story was altered slightly and expanded upon (mainly in the cutscenes, and conversations) making the story more linear than in the original. Many of the character roles were expanded slightly to include more speech. Some of the puzzles were altered from the original, as were some of the locations (the stairs in the mountain were replaced with catwalks). The soundtrack was also expanded and included better musical queues when different characters appeared or action ensued. Sound was enhanced because this version could use a sound card and speakers.
