Mayapple is a type of plant similar to mandrake. The plant has broad leaves.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

North American herb (Podophyllum peltatum) with poisonous root stock and an edible though insipid egg-shaped yellowish fruit; called also wild mandrake.

This is one of the anachronistic references that appear in a generally European-style medieval nation, including references to swiss cheese, and tomatos, among many other things that are from the Americas in origin.
