Uncle Peter Daniels (aka Peter Dan'els) was a former citizen of Innsmouth buried in Whately cemetery, before it was brought over from the other world.

His gravestone reads;

Beneath this stone, a lump of clay,
Lies Uncle Peter Dan'els,
Who, early in the month of May,
Took off his winter flannels.

Behind the scenesEdit

This is based on one in Edinburgh, Scotland. This was an epitaphs meant to warn the living from committing the same mistake as the deceased.
