The Strange Beach is a beach on on the eastern coast of Kolyma or on one of the islands of the Enchanted Isles. It lies next to the Rough Ocean[1]
Derek Karlavaegen also suggests in one of his papers that the Magic Door leads to eastern Kolyma when the correct keys are used suggesting the mountainous coast is the section of the kingdom beyond the Forest Mountain where Valanice’s parents lived.
Behind the scenes[]
The beach on the first island visited in the Enchanted Isles is known as the Strange Beach in the KQ2 Hintbook, and King's Quest Companion. It is given the name Blue Beach in the Official Book of King's Quest.
