The Fates are three faerie sisters, who control the destiny of every women and men. They're aunts of Titania, Malicia, the Weaver of Dreams. They are also known as the Three Fates.[1]

BackgroundEdit

Clotho spins the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle, Lachesis measures the thread of life with her rod, and Atropos is the cutter of the thread of life. She also chooses the manner of a person's death. They exist within another plane of existence other than Etheria, a nothing-world, floating in space.[2] Valanice was able to talk to them after using the strings of the harp in Etheria in the correct order, and learned from them very important clues for thing she had to do to find her daughter.

The Winged Ones know of the Fates, as does Alexander[3].

Behind the scenesEdit

In Greek mythology, the white-robed Moirae or Moerae (the Fates, often called the "Apportioners") were the personifications of destiny (Roman equivalent: Parcae, "sparing ones", or Fata). They controlled the metaphorical thread of life of every mortal and immortal from birth to death (and beyond). Even the gods feared the Moirae. The three Moirae were Clotho (Greek — "spinner"), Lachesis (Greek "allotter" or drawer of lots), and Atropos (Greek— "inexorable" or "inevitable", sometimes called Aisa).
