Weevils are a type of beetle collectively classified under the family Rynchophora, with a head prolonged into a snout which they use to feed on plant life.
Most varieties are troublesome, but some are downright dangerous.
Entomon Wilson's Wandering Weevils is one such variety, they are unnatural, and created through magic by Wilson to increase his magical abilities. Another species is the boll weevil.
Weevils apparently infest the swamp in Eldritch. Malicia thought they were growing bigger and bigger.
